Welcome to Ingrid Hofstetter's home page. Ingrid is a classically-trained soprano who earned her degree from the Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana, one of the finest schools for voice training in the world. While at the University, she honed her skills and talents under the able tutlage of Teresa Kubiak, one of the Metrapolitan Opera's finest singers .

This unusually gifted and attractive young women has been performing since her pre-teens, as a dancer, actress and, of course, as a singer. Growing up in Indianapolis, Ingrid has taken advantage of the performance opportunities in her community. She has been a member of the Indianapolis Children's Choir and the Singing Hoosiers at Indiana University. Closer to home, Ingrid has performed at the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts (Seymour, IN), performed a fall season with the Nashville Follies (Nashville, IN), and is a regularly-featured soloist with the Chamber Ensembles which perform at the Story Inn (Nashville, IN). Ingrid has also done studio voiceover work for Aireborn studios in Zionsville, IN. She now resides in Chicago, IL where she is continuing to pursue more singing opportunities.

This remarkable performer crosses over easily from one genre to another. She is totally at home singing an aria from an Italian opera, a jazz standard, or a popular love tune. She is able to translate her athleticism into a stunning stage presence. Ingrid has frequently sung the National Anthem at IU Soccer and women's basketball games, as well as at frequent festivals at the Story Inn. Recently she recorded some local radio commercials for the Story Inn. She is passionate about classic and contemporary musicals, as well as swing and big band jazz.
